Please join the California Primary Care Association and Americares for a one-day session where community health centers and other health organizations will share their experiences preparing for and navigating through the global COVID-19 pandemic and to learn from strategies their peers used to support staff mental health while dealing with challenges and obstacles.
This forum will include a panel of health centers who participated an Americares program on building health center resilience, addressing provider fatigue, the mental health of providers and disaster survivors as well as overall preparedness. The forum will also include a facilitated conversation around workplace resilience and a keynote speaker.
- Introduce health centers to the concept and importance of integrated emergency preparedness and psychosocial support.
- To provide a space for community health centers and health organizations to share strengths, challenges, and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic response.
- To enable health service providers to collaborate and offer advice to each other on innovative solutions they implemented during the pandemic response.
- To encourage local and community health centers/organizations to network and build partnerships that they can utilize in times of disaster and offer support to each other.

Registration is required for all CPCA training and events. You will receive two email communications immediately upon registering. The first is simply a receipt. The second from firstname.lastname@example.org and will contain webinar access information. This email will only be delivered to the individual who is registered for the event and will contain a unique link for a single connection. We recommend you add this event to your calendar using the link contained in your webinar access email. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders before contacting email@example.com.
EFFECTIVE 11/1/21: No refunds will be available for cancellations received on or after 10 business days before the start date of the event/training. To receive a maximum refund of 50% of the registration price prior to this deadline, all cancellations must be in writing and submitted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Substitutions of registrations in lieu of cancellation is encouraged.
*Last year, in recognition of the tremendous financial stress members were facing and to ensure that important and timely information could be accessed with no barriers, CPCA elected to waive training fees for the entire membership year (April 1,2020- March 31, 2021) and offer all training at no cost. As we continue to work in this pandemic environment to provide members the support they need, we must also plan for the future while supporting community health centers in improving the health status of their communities through advocacy, education, and services. Which is why the Board of Directors approved a budget in February that reflects a reinstatement of training fees effective for trainings taking place on or after April 1, 2021.
