Max is a senior policy and communications manager with extensive experience working in public affairs as a trusted advisor to elected officials and private sector leaders.
Max graduated with merit from the London School of Economics, where he received a Masters degree in Politics and Government. Previously, Max attended UC Santa Cruz, where he achieved highest honors from his department, with BA’s in both Legal Studies and Politics. While pursuing his masters degree, Max co-founded the 1989 Generation Initiative, an organization that seeks to create a new dialogue on pan-European policy. Today the organization is thriving, with a central London office and chapters across Europe.
Max also gives back to his local community, currently serving as Vice Chair of the City of Mill Valley's Emergency Preparedness Commission, as a member of the Citizen's Oversight Committee for the Marin County Wildfire Prevention Authority, and as Co-Chair of Sustainable Mill Valley.
Max enjoys hiking with his Australian Shepheard Honeybee, running the annual Dipsea Race, trying new recipes, and tending to his organic veggies garden.
