I am an enthusiastic Public Health professional who is passionate about working to combat health disparities and promote health equity.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Policy from UC Irvine as well as a Master’s degree in Public Health from Drexel University. My Master’s research focused on new and emerging smokeless tobacco issues in low-income communities, specifically product placement and marketing strategies in retail stores that influence smokeless tobacco use.
In my spare time I enjoy staying active by practicing Pilates, boxing and hiking. I also try to spend as much time as possible with my family, especially my wonderful one year old niece. Another passion of mine is traveling. My husband and I try to travel to different countries as often as we can.
