Araceli joined the CPCA in July 2022 as the organization’s Program Coordinator of Health Professions Education. She supports the BPHC workforce supplemental grant and works closely with her team to enhance health centers’ capabilities to recruit, develop, and retain their workforce by exposing health and allied health professions students, trainees, and residents to education and training programs conducted at health centers. Ms. Valencia received her undergraduate degree in Global Health from the University of California San Diego and is working towards her MPH at Sacramento State. In her free time, Araceli enjoys drawing, sewing, adventuring to a new city or trying new foods. She has traveled to 9 countries and is hoping to add more to the list!
