Having been hired remotely, and continue to work fully remote, I'm excited to meet the rest of my CPCA colleagues and all the member attendees in person at Annual Conference.
Ivan came to CPCA in September 2021 as Program Coordinator of Health Center Operations. He joined CPCA after eight years of working with non-profit organizations and FQHCs in the Central Valley. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed several programs and projects focused on improving the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. Ivan was introduced to community health as an AmeriCorps member while at Golden Valley Health Centers. He continued working in health promotion/education while collaborating with other healthcare entities, non-profits, and community agencies to ensure access to health. While at Livingston Community Health, using a population health management approach, he engaged employees promoting preventative care practices in the shared goal of improving employee health and reducing the employer’s cost of care. In his free time Ivan enjoys spending time with his Doberman, Pyro, riding his bike, trying out new recipes, and trying new food.
